MUMBAI: After setting up an independent care center for children at Kalina, a special vaccination center for third-party, gay citizens has now been set up at Vikhroli West. About one hundred third party citizens were vaccinated here till half past one on the first day on Tuesday.
The Municipal Corporation has started this special vaccination center at St. Joseph's School, Vikhroli (West). The center was inaugurated by Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope on Tuesday. The center will be run entirely by the health department of the N department. For this, the cooperation of non-governmental organizations working for the benefit of the gay community has also been sought.
